Hey, hi, hello,

It's nice to connect.

I’m here to walk alongside you.

I am an Accredited Social Worker (AASW) with a strong background in mental health and counselling. I have worked with people navigating everyday challenges, living with mental health concerns, or working through complex systems like the NDIS and workplace environments
I will offer you a space where your experience is valid.

Who I work with:

-
Neurodivergent people (ADHD &/or Autism)
-
People of colour & diverse, ethnic backgrounds
-
People navigating or recovering from workplace issues
-
High-performing women / women who have high expectations of themselves.
-
People living with long-term anxiety and depression
-
LGBTQIA+ people
-
Victim-Survivors
Backround / Experience

My background is in EAP, Women's Services, Neurodivergence, Mental Health Care (Community Outreach and in Hospitals), the NDIS and in Metro & Regional areas.

You’ll find a:
-
Compassionate, warm and grounding approach.
-
Experience and knowledge from working in EAP, the NDIS system, community and hospital, and city and regional settings.
-
Trauma-informed and neurodivergent affirming practices like DBT, IFS, and SFBT.
-
Use of a social work lens - considering power, systems, and context.
-
Working with body and mind - interoception and exploring your sense of internal balance.
I will be pragmatic in working with you to build tools, that are also trauma-informed and sensitive.

As a human:

I'm originally from Wangal Land (Homebush, NSW), I now live and play on the lands of the Stoney Creek Nation (near Launceston, TAS).
In balancing my passion in connecting with others, I value time in nature (i.e. hiking, trailing running and swimming), reading and having meaningful conversations with family and friends. I look forward to hearing more about what helps your sense of balance.

With warmth and kindness,
Bec
