Anything that's bothering you - feeling down, alone or just need to vent. 
 
I use many models of therapy including CBT, DBT, IFS, Exposure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Therapy.

What's your experience?
I have worked in frontline mental health roles in the hospital, EAP and non-governmental organisation, supporting adults, children and young people. I have short-term and long-term counselling experience, with additional specialisation and training in neuroaffirming practise, trauma, women's health, experiences as people of colour and challenging workplaces. I have also worked in policy and community-development roles, with 7+ years of corporate experience.

Walk & Talk

1 hr (Launceston & Surrounds)

Working through your feelings or experiences.​
​
What kind of things could we talk about?
Anything - just like a regular counselling session, only outdoors.
Before we first meet, we will organise a 1-hour phone/video session, so that I can get to know you and what you'd like to talk about. If we both feel that talking about it will be safe to do so in public, we can move to the great outdoors.
If at any point, you would feel more comfortable with an inside space, we can move back to phone or video.​

What if we bump into someone either one of us knows? 
As we will be in a public space, it will be less private. Confidentiality will therefore be managed by both of us. If you see anyone you know, it is up to you to decide whether you want to acknowledge them, walk in a different direction, etc. If I see anyone I know, I generally won't acknowledge them directly, as they could be another client. If they approach me, I might acknowledge them briefly and keep moving.

*I aim to keep fees in-line with industry gap-fees, if paying out-of-pocket is the only option. Please enquire for more information.
